Birthday Cake & Ice Cream

Time: 1:45 p.m.
Location: Legacy Park (near Info Booth)
Sponsored by:  Agrium
Celebrate Canada’s Day birthday with free cake and ice cream. The free Canada Day tradition dates back more than two decades. Get in line early because the cake goes fast!


Kids’ Korner

Time: 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Location: Legacy Park
Featuring a petting zoo sponsored by Sherritt, inflatable slides sponsored by Plains Midstream, face painting and other activities, the Kids Korner on Canada Day will provide plenty of fun and entertainment for young families.


Shell Cool-Down Zone

Time: 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Location: Legacy Park
Anyone that needs a cool down can head to these mist tents for a refreshing break from the heat.


Farmers’ Market

Time: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Location: CN Station Parking Lot
Organized every Thursday from 4:30-7:30 by the Fort Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce. A special market is held on Canada Day with many of the weekly favourite vendors on hand.


Museum Tours

Time: Noon to 5 p.m.
Location: Fort Saskatchewan Museum & Historic Site
The local museum is open with free admission to all on Canada Day. Take advantage of the opportunity to learn about the long and rich history of the area, dating back beyond the birth of our nation.


Yoga in the Park

Time: 2:00 p.m.
Location: Behind Warden’s House near Gazebo

RC Flying Demonstrations

Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Location: Range Road 224 & Township Road 544
Hosted by the RC Flying Club, this annual tradition allows enthusiasts and amateurs to enjoy RC flying. The site is a short 7-minute drive from downtown Fort Saskatchewan.
